   I never did it before. How does one do this? or does the TV have to have mirror ability and the chromestick is pointless?

   OK I bought a shitty chromecast stick for 35 bucks 5 years ago.. I figured it out. Now instead of doing it with my laptop, seems I can netflix or youtube a film from my phone as long as both are hooked up to my house or mobile wifi.. but I wanted to mirror from the phone from my unlimited data rather than the 10gig data I have to pay for every month. which I use for streaming music in my car on my tablet or watch netflix in my car.
   
   how do I do it this way. is there a physical teather from phone charge/micro cable to a HDMI to tv cable?
