trump 'rebelling against the status quo' has been more or less in image only. very little that matters has changed, aside from perhaps NAFTA, TPP (though that was partially due to EU sabotage) and immigration policy.
I don't know why CFR would be unhappy with him, US foreign policy is on the same trajectory as it has been aside from his attempts to repair relations with Russia.
