It's the fucking shit.
Earlier I was on sankakucomplex looking at 2D and I just sat there in amazement at the fact that no one around me knows that I'm looking at anime porn.
Just now I was on youtube watching Christine Weston Chandler, Patrick Little and RT Live videos on a huge fucking screen.
Five years from now when the screens are at the point where the quality is as good as your normal vision and the HMDs are portable with 5G support ... no one will own a laptop, tv at home or use a computer monitor as their main screen.
This is the future of everything. -

You need a midi controller and a midi recorder.
I had the Alesis MMT-8
with a digital patch it should record 8 layers but with analog it will only record 8 layers if the patches are single wave patterns.
the one I had could only record up to 16 polyphonics, so that means you could only play a few bars on each wave file. or layer like two waves with full chord range. it was old technology.. they have 128 by now Im sure.. if now more. you need a good laptop.. like a I7 or a powermac pro. -

I can unironically see the era when offices are filled with drones looking into their head-mounted displays.
The smart drones will twitch often to look like they are frantically working. Their internet will be circumscribed to what they need (the next billion dollar company will be the one who makes enhancementing social media like facebook easy).
They will look ridiculous, be utterly socially isolated, and go home each evening to contemplate suicide. Technology. -

I have been friendless and a hikikomori since I was 12 and socially isolated my entire life.
Life sucked then but now with VR it's much better.
I was just in some colorful childish fishing game called Bait, I could totally get into this and make it my go-to VR game while high or just to relax after work.
I can't wait for real VR games to come about, like jrpgs and fps ... Not this tech demo bs.
VR gaming is going to be huge. -

It was pretty trippy because as the car would move around so would my vision.
It was like riding around in a theme ride.
