   it's almost as cheap to get a few friends and rent an airBnB during prime months and skip the other months and not live there. the months were it's fucking cold too much for too long.
   
   just work part time there. 4 guys renting an Air BnB for 4k a month with 2-3 bedrooms.> I've seen them. they're pretty nice places.
   
   everyone pays up front and it's there to stay until you leave. places like Upper east side and or SoHo region.
