Damn, yeah, dolphin has a big chunk of code in it to make melee netplay work surprisingly well. You should think about getting a comp that can handle dolphin, you really don't need super stellar hardware for it anymore, the melee scene is doing better today than it ever has. I only played a couple of times at a friend's house as a kid but got into it like 6 months ago and have given myself borderline RSI practicing, the metagame is stupidly deep at this point.
