   Well, when the independent BBS networks in the SF Bay area saw that they all were doing basically the same thing they decided to join together and became NIRVANAnet.
   
   There were only three sysop that started NIRVANAnet. Jeff Hunter appears to have been the prominent 'partner' since he is the one who continued NIRVANAnet changing it to TOTSE.
   
   Now the one thing I found was the application for trademark and, lo and behold, who signed that application? The original three members of NIRVANAnet.
   
   There are other trademark and copyright applications that needed signatures, too.
   
   Such a long history, and such a quick shut-down of TOTSE. No notice -- just pull the pull!
   
   Ah! But it doesn't end there!

    Fun Fact: the Damaged One/Damage Done BBS server was paid for and setup by none other than acidmelt himself. Acidmelt is a top-level programmer and network engineer who co-founded the web version of &Totse. I was able to have a brief discussion with him in-thread where he actually expressed remorse for behaving like a deranged BBS Nazi on Totse, and he seemed on the verge of self destruction and was, at that time, looking into the abyss of heavy drug dependency, depression and suicide. I helped him as best I could.
