I've probably read more than three times the books you've read, kid, even if you're an avid reader. I am VERY well read. Not much interest in philosophers, though. Philosophers are just basically providing you their opinion; I'm more interested in facts and verifiable/practical information. -

I'm saying you should be famililar with the most famous story about one of the most significant figures in the western intellectual tradition, a definitive entry in the western cultural canon, espescially if you're going to go around describing yourself as "well read" -
