2018-08-21 at 5:35 AM UTCIn my day, if you did this ASMR shit your friends would look at you like some kind of freak and most probably even get the urge to beat you up. In fact, you would have gotten beat up by someone eventually.

Additionally, ASMR is often triggered by exposure to specific audio and video. Such media may be specially made with the specific purpose of triggering ASMR or originally created for other purposes and later discovered to be effective as a trigger of the experience.
Stimuli that can trigger ASMR, as reported by those who experience it, include the following:
- Listening to a softly spoken or whispering voice.
- Listening to quiet, repetitive sounds resulting from someone engaging in a mundane task such as turning the pages of a book.
- Watching somebody attentively execute a mundane task such as preparing food.
- Loudly chewing, crunching, slurping or biting foods, drinks, or gum.
- Receiving altruistic tender personal attention.
- Initiating the stimulus through conscious manipulation without the need for external video or audio triggers.
- Listening to a person explain a concept, describe an object or system.
Watching and listening to an audiovisual recording of a person performing or simulating the above actions and producing their consequent and accompanying sounds is sufficient to trigger ASMR for the majority of those who report susceptibility to the experience.
The only one of those that works for me is the whispering, and that’s really only in person and if someone does it right into my ear.
Listening to someone chewing makes me want to stab somebody. -
2018-08-21 at 6:05 AM UTCI think the deadly neurotoxins they are putting into the food and water and air and everything else is affecting the brain function of young persons, so that the damaging effects produce bizarre stimuli and bizarre behaviors. Most likely permanent damage, too. It's sad to see, looking at it from my side of the fence, where such horrors weren't even thought of.

if you experience ASMR then you have low T. This isn't a personal attack against you, you were unfortunately raised in an environment that lowered your levels, you couldn't help it.
I don't think a man like that ever sits down at his computer. I doubt he even owns one. But that's besides the point. -

You're right, it is besides the point. If he were to ever sit down at a computer and put on headphones and listen to an ASMR video, he wouldn't experience tingles.
This is why so many guys remember experiencing ASMR as a child but can't get it as an adult, because of testosterone levels. This is why male ASMRtists look like little weak-chinned bitches.
IF YOU ARE A MAN AND LISTEN TO ASMR, YOU'RE A LITTLE BITCH. Heh nothin personal kid. -

Perhaps you're right. Why do you think that is? Psychologically? "Low T" isn't the answer here. Think of it like this, if it has to do with low T, the fact the T is low sets the stage, then what happens? -

You used to type coherently. What happened? Have you been using drugs in the past year or two? -
2018-08-21 at 8:39 AM UTCThat was perfectly structured. You are just trying to duck and dive because I have exposed you low T troll.
Remember when you lied about playing rugby because you thought that would make you manly and cool?

Can somebody back me up here and point out that RisiR's mental health has genuinely fucked itself over the past year, and I'm not just using that as an argument or insult or something. -
2018-08-21 at 9:09 AM UTCMake a thread about it.

2018-08-21 at 3:13 PM UTCI, too, have noticed a dramatic change for the worse in RisiR's posting. I think he slipped and fell on his head or something.
