Feeling ASMR is a sign of low testosterone, btw. It's why women feel it more than guys. Not saying this as an insult, it's just the truth.

ASMR is the feeling of pleasure you get from having your partner potter around and do different nonsense things while you're resting. Most of the things that induce ASMR would be annoying otherwise. Just like with sex it's made pleasurable by nature in order to facilitate pair bonding.

Maybe having HIGH TESTOSTERONE means you go from one woman to another, knocking them up and moving on, Enter style. I wouldn't know. I'm a poor little low T beta cuck.

    Triggers

ASMR is usually precipitated by stimuli referred to as 'triggers'. ASMR triggers, which are most commonly auditory and visual, may be encountered through the interpersonal interactions of daily life. Additionally, ASMR is often triggered by exposure to specific audio and video. Such media may be specially made with the specific purpose of triggering ASMR or originally created for other purposes and later discovered to be effective as a trigger of the experience.

Stimuli that can trigger ASMR, as reported by those who experience it, include the following:

    - Listening to a softly spoken or whispering voice.

    - Listening to quiet, repetitive sounds resulting from someone engaging in a mundane task such as turning the pages of a book.

    - Watching somebody attentively execute a mundane task such as preparing food.

    - Loudly chewing, crunching, slurping or biting foods, drinks, or gum.

    - Receiving altruistic tender personal attention.

    - Initiating the stimulus through conscious manipulation without the need for external video or audio triggers.

    - Listening to a person explain a concept, describe an object or system.

Watching and listening to an audiovisual recording of a person performing or simulating the above actions and producing their consequent and accompanying sounds is sufficient to trigger ASMR for the majority of those who report susceptibility to the experience.

I'm pretty positive that I'm among the higher T users of NiS (lol) and I love ASMR.

I discovered it on my own before there was much hype on it when I came across Japanese candy videos on Youtube to which I was quite addicted for a while.

    Check this out.

In other words ASMR is what you feel when someone is being annoying, but being annoyed isn't an appropriate response.

Like your wife is eating in bed, or explaining to you in great detail her opinion about her friend, or rocking a baby asleep, or maybe breastfeeding a baby, or whatever. In such circumstance it'd be highly inappropriate to get annoyed.

ASMR is just a social instinct.

ASMR is dope. Anyone never get actual autonomous sensory meridian response and still listen to ASMR?

Older people look at kids these days and what they're doing and just shake their heads in wonder and amazement.

do you genuinely think a man like this experiences "tingles" while listening to ASMR videos

if you experience ASMR then you have low T. This isn't a personal attack against you, you were unfortunately raised in an environment that lowered your levels, you couldn't help it.
