   no wave I guess the official term to distiguish from french revival-new wave of that of Post Punk or Mod or Industrial or whatever
   
   no one among people I knew used "no wave" .. it popped up in the late 90s to describe it.
   
   perhaps in NYC it was used. I like the genre name "Just Another Asshole". funny
