Grabbing PI in public places

Places like Bestbuy, Staples, educational facilities, hospitals, and internet cafes often, if not always, use an application called Deepfreeze or the less common, cleanslate. What Deepfreeze does is protect the operating system and leave it intact as how it is, regardless of whether the computer becomes infected, or corrupted. Now, this is often used in order to reduce the amount of technical support. This application facilitates computer maintenance to such an extend where the only thing the technician has to do is boot the PC and 'thaw' it to update Windows occasionally, and re-freeze it until the next following maintenance checkpoint.
Now that it's obvious why giant electronics stores like Bestbuy use this, the Deepfreeze password prompt may be accessed pressing [CTRL] + [ALT] + [SHIFT] +F6. Sometimes the icon may appear in the system tray but for instances in which it's hidden, use the keycombo. What this does is open the dialog box shown below: [image removed due to age]

The person will obviously not know the password so in order to uninstall Deepfreeze and revert it to it's 'thawed' state, the person will have to use the SAME installation file that was used to install Deepfreeze. Take note of the version # that appeared while pressing the keycombo. He/she must have the installation file (.exe) that pairs up with the same version installed in order to be able to uninstall. The person may obtain such version on warez forums, etc...

All you have to do is run the installation file and choose uninstall. After Deepfreeze is uninstalled, the person may go on to installing a keystroke logging application like Ardamax's keylogger. The setup is a a no-brainer, simply forward the log to an alternative email. After the application is installed and setup, proceed to reinstall Deepfreeze and setup your own password (store name?). Beware of internet cafes, many of them use monitoring internet cafe software such as Handycafe or Antamedia which will display you screen in realtime if the Administrator wishes to snoop you. This will usually not be the case as most shit cafes use freeware cybercafe software which lacks such sophistication. The logs will be forwarded to the email daily until the technician either singles out the computer from the hundreds in the store or the computer is reformatted.

*Often the USB ports are disabled via device manager or in the CMOS setup (this often will not be the case). Simply boot into the BIOS and check for USB.
*The procedure should take no more than 5 minutes including the reboots. Works best in cafes and uni. libraries.

I always liked the whole, wait for a person to leave their laptop unattended and then grab it and leave approach. You can deal with the technicalities when you get home.

Sounds dope, but why don't people password protect their BIOS? It's not a lot of trouble, especially if you have a network/boxes for customers.
