Lanny is 100 percent right on the Nobel shit fest of San Francisco.
They spend way to much fucking money on temporary fixes.
Stop contracting out rent for section 8 families. Build a fucking 100 story apartment complex of minimal size rooms (like 400 sq feet with high ceilings for a loft bed)
Build those skinny apartments (That's what they call them in NYC) that are like 100 floors at 1200 ft high. they are really narrow, barley block any sun. much of the problem solved. build like thousands of them per building. put a store in the middle of it for their Food Stamp purchases of basic needs like Shampoo and Toothpaste and lunchmeat and such.
the city just pays for the buildings and tries to get people some help in finding employment until they can work on their own and be asked to leave for the next set of homeless. because homeless will always exist if a Family becomes unemployed.
I'm kind of pissed off someone fucked up Carlos Santana's Mural in the Mission. that wasn't just against hispanics but rock lovers as well. What a dumb cunt.
