That's weird. I'm not a big (active) Caffeine user so I'm not sure about the dosage but isn't that a shitton? I honestly don't know.
How much is in a Redbull?
I think that's high but not exceptionally so, I could be wrong though. I think there are a lot of people with godly caffeine tolerance who don't even realize it just because you naturally work up to it over time. I was drinking ~1600mg of caffeine in coffee per day (1-2 pots) before I did the math on how much that was, I don't think that's exceptional among american office workers and stuff.
Google says there's 100mg in a red bull although that seems low, just a cup of coffee worth. I don't drink red bull but people talk like it's crack made softdrink so that seems bretty odd. -

I don't like Red Bull but from a Monster can I have there are multiple psychoactives and/or metabolic boosters besides caffeine that probably work in adjunct:
MONSTER ENERGY BLEND: Glucose, Taurine, Panax Ginseng Extract, Caffeine, L-Carnitine, Glucuronolactone, Inositol, Guarana Extact, Maltodextrin
CAFFIEND FROM ALL SOURCES: 160mg
Doesn't make it crack but drink a few of them everyday for weeks, months, years and you can get teh hypomanias, and then teh manias, and then teh psychoses. -

Huh. I have a surprisingly positive reaction to L-Carnitine (taken on its own or with whatever (hopefully inert) binder) I can do like 3 times more cardio before wanting to die. I've never heard of Taurine before though. -
2016-03-12 at 6:18 AM UTCTaurine is in bull semen but they produce it synthetically. Straight from the Wiki:

2016-03-12 at 6:22 AM UTCAnxiolytic nootropic. Good for you but doesn't give you "energy", but I wonder if it's the addictive "punch" of energy drinks. Something in it makes it more desirable.

2016-03-12 at 6:44 AM UTCLanny, those are pretty huge doses of caffeine you're taking, but I don't know how much tolerance you've developed and what percentage of the population reaches a similar level.

You should try ALCAR + NA-R-ALA if you respond that positively to standard L-carnitine. -

Yeah, like I mentioned, I took a break from all the caffeine. It was actually doing good things on the whole but it was kinda hurting sleep and I didn't want to keep going up and up in doses. It's strange though, really minimal withdrawal symptoms, literally 6 months of negligible caffeine intake later and 200mg is still imperceptible although I can't do 800mg at once anymore.
