This kinda sounds like battered wife syndrome. It’s a shame. I personally would’ve left him 80 miles away, which still wouldn’t have been enough.

Maybe. But there's always an exception to the rule. I shave my legs and my bikini line and keep the rest of the hair trimmed. I don't like it wild and bushy. If it gets too long my hair gets pulled when I sit down. I don't like my armpit hair to get too long either; I don't want to come off as a total lesbian; just a little one. You're not wrong, but it's not that serious. I did leave him. I wasn't going to go back to get him unless he was in dire straits. I just didn't want to have done something that would've led to someone's demise. Unless they were a complete fascist. Bill Krozby isn't there yet. I was really looking out for myself more than him by checking. -
