Today I made a veggie salad with cucumber, corn, tomatoes, green chiles, red onion and some saucy stuff. I also made white bean, spinach, and sausage soup which you might say doesn’t feel like a Summer food but it did to me ok?

Before I became vegan, I liked to stick my beef jerky sticks up on the warm dash of the car and let the sun warm them up before eating. Lol, sometimes I miss being a meat-eater when I think back on those Most Wonderful Days...

I was in Walmart the other day and they were charging TWENTY ONE DOLLARS for a 16 oz bag of beef jerky.
What the FUCK. A pound of prime beef literally costs less than that.
I don't know if I'll ever buy beef jerkey, besides a slim jim here or there, ever again. Which is unfortunate, because I love beef jerky.
