I don't deny for a second that golden age islamic thinkers were the intellectual descendants of the greeks. I don't know what you think a "native product" is but, uhh, if taking no influence from exterior civilization is a requirement for something to be one then it's hard to imagine what could ever be a native product.

I'm not really sure what your point is here. Are you denying that the intellectual output we consider occurring during the islamic golden age was actually the result of some other group, or simply that it happened in spite of Islam and not because of it?
