    It doesn't, I can't imagine it's that bothersome though. On the other hand, not making them live in obscenely cramped and unsanitary conditions before slaughtering them probably does, as has already been pointed out.

    now we were talking about dairy cows. you don't slaughter dairy cows. they don't taste good and are often put out to pasture and die naturally. or sold for dog food which they will be cartered off and zapped by a probe.. not knowing what hit them. and killed really fast. those guys at the slaughter house strip them really fast.
