   Even if it's just a URL GET variable, would still be useful. Or even just listing what forum a post is in so I can visually ignore it.

   This is a good suggestion, I think the UI could be done relatively simply, implementation shouldn't be too complicated, there's a clear general usecase. I made a ticket for it here:

   Sorry, I would have submitted one, but I see why it probably wasnt done to begin with. I could not find Forum exposed in the Post object so I gave up.

   Oh yeah, the post-to-forum relationship goes through the thread table, so you have to look up the forum of the thread a post belongs to find out which forum a post is in. But I'm like half way done with anyway, you can see my rambling about the database design for this feature in that drunkcoding thread.
