Originally posted by DietPiano I believe some of them think I do or have done hard stuff and this could could be a hard sell, the only thing that would ding on a piss test is pcp because I don't know if the rc pcps would use the exact same metabolites as regular pcp or if it would be differentiated with GC/MS. I'm not too privy to find out though.
I could say "Yeah it's my meds, I don't wanna talk about it" and leave them scratching their heads trying to figure out what it is though. Bug em out a little bit.
It's retarded that pcp is still on every 5-panel test and benzos aren't because virtually nobody outside of like downtown DC does pcp anymore since the early 2000's. It would be much more helpful for employers to know if their employees are potentially abusing benzos vs potentially abusing pcp, an unheard of friggn' novelty drug to 99% of the US.
yeah im sure when someone tests positive for pcp at the lab they're shocked -

there's no big deal about getting it perfect first time, so whatever. and i have a pretty high tolerance to acid anyway, always have done. to me doing 400ug is pretty normal trip, the two i did the other night was still very mild for me.

if people are doing their job right then they shouldn't be getting drug tested at all. its not your employers business what you do with your time if it doesn't affect their time.
'their time' lol, wtf am i even saying, hah. what a fucking world we live in.

Benzos aren't associated with violence, though they can make you cranky when they wear off. Also they're a white people drug, and almost everyone has some put away. -

Low dose has been incredible, it grants me incredible clarity of thought and is highly productive.
I really step into my role as the steward of my body and the person it has built an identity around. I can see all his gears, and most of all I can see his foibles. And I can see how to get around them.
One recent "breakthrough" I had through low dose DMT is the actual truth about my clinical depression and its role in my life. I do not take any medications and I've been managing it through meditation, introspection and discipline.
As a result, I feel like shit day in and day out, from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. I feel like I have no energy. I only do everything I have set out for myself day to day and week by week because I know I must do it in order to achieve my goals. I always feel like I'm punching up by doing anything, but I do it anyway.
To me, this dynamic has become normal, feeling like shit waaay beyond my physical health and doing things anyway because it's what I need to do. The problem is, I never really understood the mental toll it takes on me. It is "normal" for me to punch up all the time.
But on DMT, I can "see" those cogs turning. I can see it's just a physical thing. And more importantly, somehow I can seize the reins and control my body without that enhancement, and I physically feel healthier and more energetic, because I don't have that weird black hole of despair enhancementing all my experiences any more. More importantly, the mental burden of having to fucking fight to wake up and hit the shower was gone. I was just making decisions.
Ever since then, my motivation to stay disciplined has gone way up, and I still feel drained but now I know why, and that it's bullshit and an invalid lie created by some malevolent feature of my biology, it is no different than having damaged hearing. So powering through it isn't remotely as much of an effort now.
I would agree that DMT seems to provide a certain metacognition that seems useful for those of us who perhaps need a closer look at our mental processes. I've been using it to gain perspective on the residual emotional effects of childhood trauma, which often manifest as depression and anxiety in my daily life. I have definitely felt a change in my attitude since using DMT for targeting that more vulnerable place in that I have been able to ignite self-compassion, which has been excellent for healing.
I wouldn't say that DMT alone has spurned this change, as there is a portion of my recovery which can only take place in psychotherapy, but it certainly inspired me to take charge of my treatment in a manner that has been very successful. It's also been good for my relationships with my family, to which I give a lot of attention while I'm tripping. I plan to use it again soon, and I expect my life will be richer for it. -
