I'v only been to NYC twice. once as a kid around 82-83 and 2015 with my girlfriend (now that I'm seperated going through divorce- My wife never wanted to visit NYC.. she said it's a shithole why go but they cleaned it up.. even the trains are super clean)
so when I first went to NYC, I remember seeing the skyline from New Jersey first and the WTC were looking pretty bad ass from across the hudson. we were only in the city part for a short wile then moved through upper state New York.

Speaking of weird lyrics.. never thought of this in the 80s. prolly because I was a teen in those years and little girls just meant virgin girls in highschool .. he's mocking "all they want to do is hold me" but now it makes me do a double mental take

I never put much thought into the lyrics and was playing it taking my kids to school one day and realized "I might like you better if we slept together" "wtf .. and turned it off" then realized the lyrics have even a more fucked up meaning. I think Darrel Hanna was in a movie about her father raping her.
