Have you ever thought about how easy it would be to poke your eye out
-
2018-06-19 at 5:11 PM UTCOut of all the stuff you run into or bump or jam or ram your hands, feet, knees, and head into, wouldn't you think there would be something skinny or sharp that you would have run into or fell on by now that would have taken your eye out?
I ran into a chair while playing ghost when I was 6 and got a black eye, but didn't pop my eye out!
Even if you get punched hard in the eye, shouldn't that mess it up?
Tell me how you almost lost your eyes! -
2018-06-20 at 1:58 AM UTCI have a habit of working with no PPE, You'd figure some random thing ejected from a saw, grinder or a chunk of drywall would have fucked up an eye by now but alas I'm whole. I did have a piece of crap from a drop ceiling scratch up a cornea but that was the worst.

2018-06-20 at 2:01 AM UTCHave you ever had an insect get in your eye before you can blink but then it fucking somehow stays in there and works its way BEHIND your eye and you can feel it all Weird and stuck back there and you can't do anything about it and it just stays there for days and days and years drying out and crusting onto your eye until it melds into it and becomes a permanent part of you?

When I was like 11 or sumn... I went to a relatives house and they had a curling iron plugged up in the bathroom and told me not to touch it.. but I really really wanted to bump my bangs a lil and I tried to do that and dropped the curling iron in my left eye right on the pupil
I got rushed to the E.R and had to see and eye specialist for months and my pupil was blue..
Now I understand why they said hard head makes a soft ass lol
Thankfully it's alright ..
I like that one Christmas movie where they kept telling that kid who wanted a rifle for Christmas
" you'll shoot your eye out kid" !
He ended up getting the gun and almost shot his out lol
