I’m still so bummed they made ephedra illegal. I lived on that crap back in the day. I have Adipex, but unfortunately, I’ve built up too much of a tolerance to it. I have to take it like every other month for it to have any kind of effect, and even with that, after a week there’s not much effect from it. Sucks! :-( -

2018-06-16 at 12:22 PM UTCI love my drugs but y'all are way too liberal with your heroin use. That's one drug where at some point every user becomes a junkie. Why? Why even start using that shit?

have you noticed how the media and any 'official' govt/authority sources over-exaggerate when they talk about cannabis? well they do the same with heroin too. but they really go overboard to demonize the fuck outta that stuff. it really isn't the 'evil' substance that they make it out to be all the time you know. alcohol is far worse by any means. also they'll never make any distinction between heroin users and 'junkies', which means you very likely think they are all one and the same. they're not. all the heroin scare stories you constantly hear about are nearly always attributed to junkies.
junkies are never just heroin exclusive, but they never tell you that. junkies are people who are just on total self-destruct mode who just happen to use heroin, amongst other things. you'll usually find them with a needle full of smack in one hand and a can of extra-strength beer in the other, and then a crack pipe, spice joint or a bunch of valium or xanax in yet another hand. those people will also neglect themselves terribly. all the detrimental effects those people suffer are nearly always either from the alcohol, crack, benzo, whatever abuse as well as the self-neglect, or most likely combination of the lot. also those people will always inject the drug which is what makes heroin in any way dangerous or damaging to the user. yet the govt and media will always report these people as 'heroin addicts' which is what gives heroin its terrible reputation with the masses of sheep who have never tried it and who's only knowledge of the stuff is from the media and 'official' sources.
all those homeless 'smackheads' you might see on the streets are always junkies, and even tho they may consider the heroin to be their main drug, its never their exclusive drug. the other drugs and their shitty neglectful and thoughtless lifestyle will be the biggest contributor to the downfall of those individuals. yet heroin always solely gets the blame.
heroin addicts/users on the other hand usually tend to be a lot more exclusive with heroin and more often will smoke their drug of choice which straight away takes away the danger of overdose from the equation. with only one drug to find they will have more time to look after themselves and more money to feed themselves and buy other things they need, and usually can still lead a fairly normal and functioning lifestyle. even going to work and performing normal tasks that involve thinking and maybe operating machinery or driving. think how many actors and musicians etc you've heard of that are heroin addicts. if heroin did what the media makes it out to, leaving people as homeless bums, then how would they manage with the hectic schedule and workload required from somebody at that level of professionalism?

2018-06-16 at 1:22 PM UTCand heroin is non-tissue toxic. that means it doesn't cause permanent long term damage to tissue or organs in the body. all the physical dangers of heroin are down to use of the needle. the danger of overdose, you cannot overdose smoking it line by line, you would become sedated and nod off before you were able to take a lethal dose. but with the needle you put the entire dose into your vein in a second, and can then find out that you've put in too much. the only other dangers from heroin use is with infections and abscesses but that comes from using dirty needles itself or from contaminates that are in the powder. or from diseases like HIV or hepatitis which is from sharing needles, not from the drug itself. when smoking heroin the only problem is from addiction, but addiction is just lack of self-control. if you learn self-control and don't use heroin continuously on a daily basis then the addiction can be kept off permanently. personally i look at heroin use as a recreational activity like somebody else would look at going to a ball game or a music concert. its an occasional treat. you wouldn't spend all day every day at your teams stadium or at your fave artists concerts. i find heroin is way more enjoyable that way too, doing it daily does tend to just become normal, you lose the appeal after a while doing it every day.

I don't believe in propaganda. But Drugs Incorporated tells it how it really is. -

i mean look at how you said that 'every user becomes a junkie'. and how do you know that to be true? you've never used heroin, so you've got that info like everyone else has, through official info and the mass media telling us that if you use heroin you will become hooked and you will become a junkie. like the drug will force you to use it that way. by putting that idea into everybody's psyche from an early age, pretty much anyone who does use heroin just goes along with it and starts using it all the time. they think that's the only way heroin can be used. they convince themselves its not them doing it but the drug is making them do it that way. but that's ridiculous when you think about it. a drug doesn't make you do shit, your mind does. no matter how sick you get from addiction you still choose whether to use again or to not use or leave it for a while. the current system gives people a perfect excuse to pass the buck and keep using, convincing themselves its not their fault or that they're not doing it, the drug is.

You've got to be the first person I've ever encountered...or heard of.. that went from full-blown junkie to mild to moderate user... it just don't work that way with that drug. No offense, brother, but I'm not buying what you're trying to sell me... I think you're still using it very frequently. -
2018-06-16 at 1:56 PM UTCHeroin isn't that addictive, I've done opiates for years now and when I run out I just don't get more.
The only drug that makes me compulsively blow grams is meth.
And weed. -
