   If you are taking a photo you'd normally position the camera and yourself so the subject matter is in the correct/ideal position...It's easier to move yourself than the object usually.
   
   As such it follows the phototographer in question WANTED the image to be sideways, that's a bad.lazy photographer...he could still have fixed the issue by rotating it before presenting it to the audience.
