    It's a security feature of the host. When it detects suspicious activity from an IP, it blocks that IP with a denial of service protection scheme. To test, you need two machines on two different IPs. If you get the 502 on one machine, but then you're able to connect on the other machine, then you know you are dealing with a DoS protection scheme.

    yeah ive never seen that shake n bake stuff either. my neighbor pushes the good stuff but i've laid off the last week. its kinda funny because after a couple nights of parting and then coming down if i drink a few brews and eat a hamburger i actually feel better and more sane than if i hadn't
