Turning on that TV or buying that newspaper would require you to use multiple examples of societies benefits. And if the message has been the same to you for years...and you still don't get it...you probably never will. That will only result in further misery for you. -

Good news. Northern California (mainly bay area) has more jobs then people to fill them
Bad News: Rent is a bitch and you would be lucky to rent out a closet (literally a closet in a house) to set up as your own. there is a massive housing crisis in the bay area where houses have been rented or purchased before finished being built.
So if you can stand living out of your car or get creative with a hedge (as I did a few nights.. hehe.. painter tarp and found a giant shrub south of market. then you should be able to find work.

With regard to the topic we are discussing..by being an active and contributing member of society and through that observing/witnessing and participating in the benefits that society brings as well as bearing witness to the consequences to those who don't.
Example: If I drive on highway 290 twice a day for 8yrs and observe the construction and improvements to that highway then I know when I watch a news story on it if the message they deliver regarding it's current state is accurate or not.

Trying to 'rip off the government' is about the dumbest shit I've ever heard of. If you actually want to change shit you should get engaged with your community. Like actually call your local politicians and vote. I've called congressional representatives for my state when a krqtom5ban was proposed. Took a while to actually get him on the line, but I told him about the pharmacology and science behind why Crouton is safe compared to other opioids and it seemes to do good. He ended up co-signing in favor of keeping it legal.
Earlier this year I voted for removing some traffic cameras in my city. It was only a poll, but they're taking them down now. Shit can actually, really get done when you do shit instead of sitting on your ass and claiming you do shit. Go actually try to change the world around you if you give a fuck about it and aren't just a lazy mooch. Go do something you can be proud of. -

Well, I made that $400+ by doing some side work, not at my normal day job.
I dont worry or think about what others have so much. I know that I make above the national average at my day job and then more by supplementing.
$35k-$40k from day job
$15k(tax free) == $20k from supplementing
So about $55k a year. Nothing to brag about but not so bad for someone with no college education and someone that doesnt try that hard. -

here is the trick.. first if you ever are capable of coding and land a 100k a year job, you live in a car, shower at the gym and eat as cheaply as possible.. 5 years and you can buy a house outright in Austin Texas or say somewhere in Flagstaff Arizona or even the flats of California (Modesto or wherever) -

If I hadnt started doing some of the things I started when I was younger, my quality of life would have been lower and I would have never had the funds to go out and do mosts of the things Ive done.
