   I'm in my late 20's, but I've lived with my girl for roughly 8 years. About to move to Japan, unless something falls through, then Canada is the backup. Regardless, I'm getting out of the USA. Not because of any specific reasoning, worlds just too big to roam the same old stomping grounds for too long. In my younger years, I seriously considering moving to Cambodia or Vietnam. With the right business plan, a little savings, and the ability to talk/engage with people.. you can live a good life in those countries. At one time you could buy a hectare of land, already planted with coffee bean or tangerines for around $5000-$10,000. With an extra 5-10 grand as a nest egg to pay workers or improve upon the dwelling, it would have been an interesting life.

   What you earn is proportional to the value you provide for your company. Objective value. Don't be a snowflake and say your labor is worth 10k an hour if it's not, and recognize the traits people have that do make absurd amounts of money. They're good at what they do and they make their company a lot of profits, therefore it is wholly reasonable to pay them the most amount of salary.
   
   It's not like these people were born into their position. This isn't the dark ages anymore.
