Originally posted by Codebeta I should mention this since you have a Tabby. Mine was great until he was 13 and I had a great Vet who was always on TV. I trusted him and on a routine visit he noticed a tiny black dimple on the lower lip and it seemed suspicious. I had to travel for a day and when I came back I couldn't believe it. Even though he was injected with special antibiotics it turned out to be a common felinine HPV with a huge cyst that grew and deadly. It just couldn't be stopped and the cat had to be put to sleep. The university lab confirmed it and said Tabby's lips should be checked. More prominent in the north and not as much in the south. Air borne from cat to cat and no way to test as it has no markers until activated. Early warning signs possible vomitting and sneezing. Some Docs don't even know about this or bother checking. I drained he cyst and kept giving it CPR with a straw to keep oxygen higher while a buddy drove and yet it was already too late.ππ
Omg no. Ugh now I'm going to have anxiety:(
Bugg has little black spots on his lower lip. They said it's normal for orange tabbys. I've already had 2 scares with his health in the last month.
And he sneezes a lot:(
He's only 3 tho. -

2018-05-23 at 3:02 AM UTCWell I hope thatβs not what has been wrong with Bugg.

Nah Babe don't panic or worry...it's common in terms of being benign in the lage bmajority and only a few in the cyst form. Plus hardly any in your area and chances are extremely slim. Not the normal black spots...this one seemed unusual with a little blood. He also broke a tooth and this was found out later. I'm just saying on visits check everything and inside the lips also. Mine was an unfortunate rare case with small numbers and they all sneeze due to dust. I mean non stop sneezing and whizzing. Sorry to upset you...you really have nothing to worry about. And mine was mauled and went though a lot. -

2018-05-23 at 3:20 AM UTCMy cat did that too...I'd be on the computer and he' jump up to look at me and kiss me. When I'd fall asleep he'd sleep on my head on the pillow or crawl under my sheets playing with my legs meowing like a complete idiot. He loved listening to porn and would literally sing.
