honerable mention: the new mad max, and the new blade runner ( which reminds me, I need to watch Ready Player One - which they played a preview for when I saw blade runner. the sci fi city made out of junk really grabbed my interest )

i can't say for an absolute certainty but probably was a lot cheaper to do so that way...and the money saved from that would go to other aspects of the production and the throw some change towards the crew(unless it went to the cast. i don't know.) -
