    Should work. Mine's a Note 4.
    
    Looks like they use S Voice as the voice recorder.
    
    Go to Settings, Apps, Application Manger, Voice Recorder, permissions.
    
    Make sure all permissions are checked.
    
    Clear the cache.
    
    Cross fingers.
