Strange things are happening

   I got this jolly ficus in my living room right? I just planted it a few weeks ago and its already a pretty cool ficus. But I got something weird going on. In the pot I planted it in there is a weed or something growing alongside it. Its just a little thing with three rounded leaves sprouting at the side of the pot. I cant tell what kind of plant it is so I think I am gonna let it grow and see if it becomes something cool.
   
   Anyway I used miracle gro as a medium for my ficus. Do you think thats where the pest came from? It seems odd that something would grow since I didnt plant it.

   soil you buy at the store is chock full of spores and fungus and microscopic worms and spiders and even seeds. before you use it, you are supposed to spread the soil flat on a baking sheet and put it in an oven at 250 degrees for an hour or more to sterilize it. especially important if you are growing high-value plants, so that they don't get diseases.

   I used to have a shitty kids chemistry set microscope to use to ID mushroom spores....never really found any good ones, though....the places I have lived aren't very conducive to plentiful natural psilocybes. One time I did find some big laughing gym, but I was at the state park with my kids and didn't want to pick a bunch of mushrooms while we were hiking, I couldn't even think of a way to justify or explain why I was picking mushrooms, so I just left them to nature.

    Holy shit! It's true. I was looking at some aloe cells today in my microscope, saw some weird black dot moving around so I zoomed in around this really weak cell and there was a fucking drone orbiting my aloe cell!
