I prevented the spead of disease at work today.
-
2018-05-01 at 3:27 AM UTCI was opening up a razor blade when I accidently sliced my finger.
I was bleeding pretty good.
My first thought was to dip the rest of the new razor blades in my Hep C blood and hope I could infect others.
But something came over me.
I can't explain it.
I took the razor blade that cut me and deposited it in the used blade bin and went to wash my hands.
Then I applied a band aid.
I realized what I had just done and immediately felt sick to my stomach.
I started thinking about all those toys at walmart that I used to flick my blood on and all the sharp stuff at other jobs I would lace with my blood.
All the used needles that I would tell other addicts were new.
Something happened.
I had prevented the spread of my life threatening disease.
I felt sad for a good 2 hours thinking about all the pain I put unsuspecting people through.
I can not change the past.
But.
I can change the future.
Just for today I will not intentionally try and infect others with Hep C.
Just for today. -

2018-05-01 at 2:29 PM UTCyes i did.
We share needles because the obsession and compulsion to get high is so great that we just do not care to find new ones.
If we have dope already and only have 1 needle we do not want to wait to get high while we go look for clean needles.
Getting high as soon as possible is all that ever matters. -
2018-05-01 at 2:31 PM UTCYou don’t need to shoot something to get high though. And needles are like 10 cents and you can get them delivered in the mail.

2018-05-01 at 2:41 PM UTCop proves my point.

2018-05-01 at 2:46 PM UTCAll that matters is getting high and doing it as fast as possible.
Needles get you high real fast and it is stronger. -
2018-05-01 at 2:48 PM UTCi've smoked smack for 22 years now. never once felt the need to stick a dirty ass needle in myself to get it that few minutes quicker.
. -
2018-05-01 at 2:49 PM UTCI have spent enough money on dope that all of my blood and organs should be solid gold right now.
Except...
I was shooting dope and not gold.
you get what im trying to say though right? -
2018-05-01 at 2:52 PM UTCI shot fentanyl and meth before. It does feel weird sticking needles in your blood stream. I can get high still without shooting it though

This logic is such shit...obviously nobody needs to stick a needle in them to get high, but people still do it. Somebody who only smoked weed could say “I’ve smoked weed for 22 years and never once felt the need to do heroin”
Then what? -
2018-05-01 at 2:59 PM UTCthey could do crack, or meth even. maybe even get some of that shitty spice, there's so much to choose from i guess.
i don't get wtf you're going on like that at me for tho. that wasn't meant as logic, just saying it as it is. you tryin to pick a fight here gp?

have yourself tested for HIV 6months from now.
someone with HIV and/or other blood communicable diseases might have cut themselves before you and leave it there.
