Discounters acquire their product from various sources. The likes of Tesco, and even Aldi and Lidl don't have set sources for their stock. Whoever bids lowest and seems to have the best product wins. The accounting is complex, but involves recovery of fixed and variable costs, not wanting to dilute your brand, etc.
As a result sometimes you'll buy €80 a bottle shit for €12.95 - other times you buy pure shit for more than you should have paid. In fact you probably should be paid to dispose of this tainted ethanol mis-product. I'm pretty sure if you dumped it down the drain the local council would want compensation for the damage caused.
This is an instance of the latter. I'm not even drunk and already I have a hangover.
Goddam Lidl. This is the worst brandy I've had in years.

Considering aldi and lidl are known as chav and slav places it's pretty odd that they've got shitty booze, better than going to the pub though considering the average prices nowadays

I drunk the entire bottle and spent the day in bed trying to recover.
