    Lil Sporty will just give them the IP logs. Every post you’ve made has your IP address linked to it, even if the username changes it won’t matter

    That seems like a dumb design. Why wouldn't it just be linked to the user? Like, instead of being linked to the post. It would be: This user posted all this. Here are teh IP's of this user.

    This way when you TSTM there is no way of tracking a post to any one of the 50,000 IP's TSTM has.

    I guess it would depend on how the court order is worded, as to what exactly Lanny would give them.

    But yeah it’s not just this forum, totse and zoklet worked the same way. Every post has an IP address linked to it. If they asked for all the IP addresses of TSTM, it might take them a while to go through them all but they WILL find out which posts were yours.

    You should check out some of the court documents from the Coupon Guy case from zoklet, makes for an interesting read

    As far as I know Zok didn’t work for the FBI. But when requested, he gave them all the information they asked for on the Coupon Guy without a court order. He just did it because he didn’t want to get himself in legal trouble
