As he sees just ahead there is a DUI checkpoint, and he is drunk and has just passed two police cars so no turming around or getting out of it... He takes out one of his 2 tall boys he just went to the store to pick up, and begins drinking it, as he comtinues to approach the checkpoint thinking of what to do... "Take my chances in a police chase? Go to jail and be in trouble again? What am I gonna do...?"

I've only been through one DUI checkpoint ever and I was, indeed, drunk. But I had my seatbelt on and got a card for a free cheeseburger at Hardee's and they waved me through.

Once back in Hawaii I was stoned as fuck on syncans with a few of my friends and we were driving around at night and there was a DUI checkpoint we were about to drive through and everyone else was talking and shit and didn't realize. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to make the driver all paranoid, and they waved us through. Afterwards, I was telling them that it was a DUI checkpoint and nobody believed me and thought I was just stoned, but I saw the sign. Idiots.
