Assuming it's not just USA but other countries like Philippines etc.

I want to save up for the future, I can't buy property in my name here, but I can do that in Pakistan. I am thinking that would be a wise investment to purchase land (it's cheaper) and build something on it, (housing or renting).

But what would be the other options.

But for real how much capital do you have to invest? Without knowing that it’s hard to say

I mean if I play it safe and work hard, 25K a year is possible. Currently I get in USD and then it gets converted into Peso's. Which is a loss for me. So trying to figure out how to save up and put the money into good use instead of letting it sit.

Realistically, just put it in a mutual fund or something with recurring deposits

Okay, let me see if I can find something. Some did say to buy condos and then rent them. I am thinking of going in that direction.

Was gonna say this. I’ve thought about renting out my place before. But in the US the law favors the tenant. Even if they stop paying rent for months, it’s a nightmare to get them out. Sometimes just a couple months’ deposit isn’t enough to recoup your losses from that kind of shit. They could totally WRECK the place too. People can be animals
