    Government is a natural outgrowth of a free market system. The most successful corporations create, grow and use it to maintain their place at the top, just basic game theory.

    The only way you can have capitalism without all the stuff Lanny talks about is by first establishing a state with strong anti-monopoly, anti-rentseeking laws, and enough checks and balances to keep the whole system accountable to a larger group of people.
