Does anyone else here work out?

It's seriously changed my life around. I feel really good most of the time now, and this is coming from someone who constantly experiences horrific, crippling existential dread. REAL existential dread, not that type of shit referenced in gay ass comics by numales and ugly chicks:

"DURRR! HAHAHAHAHAH! *claps fat hands together* I CAN RELATE!!!!1111111"

Sorry, that was a bit of a tangent. Anyway, yeah, it's really improved my life. I'm 3 weeks in, and yesterday people noticed I was working out. I denied it of course, to not come across as a gym faggot.

What the fuck does "for myself" even mean? It's the equivalent of those stupid cunts who say they wear makeup for themselves. Bitch, you do NOTHING for yourself, you depressed, validation seeking, sack of shit.

A lot of the reason I'm feeling good is because of third party opinion. I acknowledge that.

Probably referring to health/strength reasons etc. Functionality vs aesthetics.

Like people forget that being buff isn’t just to look good, a couple thousand years ago people worked out so they could slaughter other humans in gladiatorial bouts.

Nowadays everyone is so averse to confrontation and live such sheltered lives that they don’t even think of physical strength as something that matters anymore.

But yeah no one really does it for THAT stuff^, it’s to look good, boost their self esteem, and get laid.

I've noticed I can walk easier. I've never taken leg day seriously before, but this time I have been. I feel more powerful in the legs and can walk to and from places with a lot more ease now. I feel more powerful in that sense. But that's it. The rest is for social reasons.

Wait, does threatening people fall into aesthetics or functionality? Because I hope to be buff enough to threaten people without actually fighting them. Like, just scare them. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself; it's not like I'll ever be steroided up.

I do it to feel good. I won't really get buff on my regimen but it helps me feel limber and make my back not hurt. Also good stress release.
