i dunno to each their own, she's actually making it tomorrow for lunch. I'm trying it out because helladmanleet and mr abs said it rocks and so does my friend.
But you being a brit you guys are known for eating bland food so I am going to have to disregard your comment. I used to work for a brit chef and the food looked "nice" but was very bland.

2018-04-08 at 5:54 AM UTCits russian i believe, just beef cooked in sour cream somehow, usually has mushrooms in it. i'm not saying its horrible, it is quite nice, but i'm just saying it ain't that great either, is all.
btw, tikka masala is a british dish, invented in birmingham by a british chef. in fact it was the british in the raj that first started spicing up the food in india because it didn't taste so great. so most curries are really a british dish. not exactly known for being bland.

i been doing a lot of stir fries lately, usually with chicken or king prawns(jumbo shrimp) which i mix in either some curry sauce or sweet chilli sauce. sometimes i do chicken with fried potato's, but i add some crushed garlic to the potato's and just when they're nearly cooked i add some sliced onion. really funks them right up nice.
