Current watch?

My current watch is still a Pebble Time Steel, but the literal jedis at Fitbit, who bought Pebble, are discontinuing Pebble support this summer, so I may have to find another watch.

Should I just switch to a cheap digital watch? Spending €100+ on a watch is not a realistic option for me.

What features on the Pebble were you using most frequently?

Personally, I use a Fitbit because it was a gift, but it has made a difference in my fitness. If you aren't looking for that functionality, what else do you typically value in a wristwatch?

Nice screen, and it turns the backlight on when I flick it.

It used to notify me to texts and allow me to pause music, but my new phone doesn't do that as I can't figure out how to launch the Pebble App at startup.

It also serves as a fitness tracker ever since Google Fit became useless, I use that about once a fortnight.
