I can't force myself to believe in something that's objectively proven to be false. Like, the Christian bible has been proven to be rewritten from other texts and previous religions, you know? How the fuck do Christians ignore that shit? -

Most Christians I've known consider the stories in the Bible to parables and fables meant to explain how to lead a 'good' life, even if some of them are insane and others are no longer as relevant as they once were -

Well I went to church when I was younger, and in my youth group the leader asked who believed every word of the bible as the truth, and everyone but me and one other guy raised their hand. It was crazy to me. -

And we'd sing retarded little songs about how we were "children of israel" and how god was rewarding "his tribe" and setting "his tribe" free. I think I was the only one to notice this bullshit. Maybe the teachers did as well, I dunno. It's pure cringe.

I have noticed religious people do have things that us heathens lack. Even if their beliefs are bs, they use them to make a lifestyle and a community, which is beneficial. -
