I used to go into this old bar in San Francisco. Order Wild Turkey and a ale. sip some of the ale and slam the shot and slam the beer (like it was the bar scene from Hitchhikers Guide..) without the peanuts.
the bartender/owner would give me mean looks. and his wife (or sister) was really sweet and talked nice to me. but when she wasn't there, he would look at me like he wanted to murder me.
I don't drink anymore and haven't been to that bar in years. but it's very cool looking.
Lanny.. do you know this bar? it's supposed to be one of the oldest and is near Kennedy's (indian own for a few decades)
I mainly went there to listen to music. some decent bands. all throw into the kitty for the band. it's worth 5-10 bucks.
