If one prisoner unreasonably calls another a faggot, there can be unpleasant consequences. From the offender will be a physical "demand" (questioning). To a proper prisoner, they will bash his head in, possibly with a stool or a bench. Therefore not in vain they say "watch after the broom" (watch your mouth), dont say anything extra. Some ask for help from the guards, but the administration usually doesnt intervene. Moreover, they try to hush the conflict.
How do they handle a situation, when in prison, they brought a person with history of lets say being raped, but who tried to hide this fact? If in relation to a certain prisoner there were questions, and a doubt, then he, until the ascertaining of his circumstances, he will be "put on a cup" (set aside). This means that the person starts getting their own tableware, people dont sit with him around a table temporarily. He is not a faggot yet, but is already under suspicion. Because of this, if after a prisoner is trailing some ugly story, even if its just a lost and unpaid debt, then finding himself in a cell, he must decalre; "I am bullshit", and wait for a resolution of the prison society. Any resolution of the cell gets declared by the "beholder" (elder, shot caller of the cell) to the main "beholder" of the whole prison. Controversial situations get an opinion of the brotherhood. He goes to a "thief in law" (authoritative criminals who live by the law of thieves), gets from him an answer, the final resolution of the issue, in particular whether to lower someone to faggot caste or not, is decided by the main thief (main shot caller).
Situations, where someone is turned into a faggot by decision of one prisoner or even the whole cell, are impossible. If a person found himself in the faggot caste without permission of an authoritative figure, a serious question manifests: who governs the prison? Who gave who the authority to shove someone into faggotry? And most importantly, based on what grounds? Prison hierarchy insured prisoners even from arbitrariness. No. In front of the eyes of a person familiar to me, who has served a term in Russian prisons, a group of youngsters who called themselves a brotherhood, forced one convict to agree to become a faggot. Witnesses of violence, other prisoners, decided not to get involved, else they would receive retribution of the youngsters. There were too many of the youngsters. You intercede, you become next; if not a faggot, then they will break your bones. After some time there was a figuring out of the situation. The youngsters were being caught throughout the prison, and there they were punished. But the person, having been turned into a faggot via lawlessness, did not have a way back anymore. Such is the law. This was not rape in direct form, the person has been fiercely pressured, moreover the story happened in Russia. But even in this situation the person is left with a choice, there are always shaving razors, with which its possible to commit suicide, but also with which to at last kill a couple people.
What measures for combating the dissemination of homosexuality does the correctional administration take? I am not aware of any such measures. This phenomenon they treat cold heartedly, they dont intervene with the process. And how and who will clean up the tremors and do the dirty work, if not the "offendeds"? Authoritative prisoners live by an understanding, they don't work by principle. A normal man can be forced to take into his hands a rag or a broom, but nobody will clean up a bloody mess.
Can it really be, that sexual energy, built up in prisoners, during the often multi-year sentences, does not scare the administration? A person has brains, if he was brought up in a normal environment, to have relations with men in prison, he will not. One time for sake of interest, possibly, but not for nothing they say in prison that masturbation is not a dingy phenomenon. A prisoner has hands. Functional faggots themselves want to get fucked, but only men with certain orientation use them. To the administration, a hierarchy is favourable in prison. prisoners who consider themselves people, are harder to control than faggots, losers, and peasants. But for compliance of laws within prison, prosecution is responsible, which surely does not have a taste for homosexuality within places of confinement. Maybe does not have a taste for it, but because of indications that its happening, the problem gets hushed up. Serious cases like death or murder get investigated, but when someone gets fucked in the ass, they dont care.
Do demands for compliance for standards of behaviour exist for people who escaped sexual acts with men, but by power of fate ended up in the faggot caste? Yes. They will have to stay a faggot until the end of their term.
