   For those of you who don't know how carp tastes, they taste like shit. They secrete some oil or something which makes the meat taste 'dirty.'
   
   Apparently koi eat algae, so they taste a little better. But their meat is still very tough like carp, apparently2. And not in the meaty lean way like salmon.
