Internet politics are not mainstream, don't matter, and are irrelevant to anyone's real life.

People, including many comedians, keep trying to act like internet outrage is ruining their careers. Tags from the left and the right keep a ring like 4Chin got Trump elected or their online bullshit actually matters.

    It doesn't.

Trump didn't win because of internet retards. SJWism isn't winning because of blogger outrage. Kill yourselves. Nobody cares.

I don't at all. Nobody cares. If you want your political opinion to matter at all right now, you need to actually go outside and participate in political activism. If you want to shit post on the internet, understand that nobody cares.

So you think that if you stand at the corner holding a sign your opinion will suddenly start to matter?

Didn't say that at all. But it'll matter way more than arguing in the internet.

Your voice on the internet is one of millions, and nobody cares about it, just like they don't care about the other millions of voices.

I disagree. I think the more invested we all are with the internet, especially in matters of civic discourse, the more our internet activity will come to appear meaningful.

The streets consist of rich people in cars who don't care, and poor people on foot who don't matter.

Although, I agree with you %100 about participating in the varying processes of our government, most people have NOT been involved. Even now, how many of the posters on this site will be participating in their state primaries? I'd be surprised if somebody knew who their candidates are for the parties.

Social media does matter. If it didn't nobody in our government would have twitter accounts. Trust me, most politicians hate it with a passion... cuz many don't like technology much- except for those who have recognized how/what an effective & valuable tool it is- and use it.

It all revolves around sponsors. If the sponsor thinks people will be offended, then they pull their involvement from the medium, and the medium suffers unjustly. The majority isn't actually offended at all, but the sponsors decide for us that we are, which, in turn, artificially creates the reality.

Internet politics actually do serve a purpose...it motivates people who are involved in real life to be stronger supporters when they realize the truth considering every side of different issues. The Drudge report for example posting fair views from all sides did more to elect Trump than fake news from NBC, ABC and CNN supporting corrupt politicians like Clinton. By Face Book the globalists pumping out BS every day during the last federal election they also made Trump supporters more committed and fight united. The state rallies were awesome...nothing like it before. In comparison Europe has no real democracies left as the EU tries to shut down opinions on the Internet and ironically it's making movements on the right more determined. Many if not all nations want their borders back and to determine their own immigration laws to deport illegals like Italy is starting to do. They also want to use their own currency again and be able to trade freely with who they want without adhering to unfair EU laws. Social media also helped the UK exit the EU and what is helping other nations now to support the US through individual voices not socialist ideals. Even Russian and Chinese are breaking through to be heard and it is a revolution.

This is a War, between the global crony capitalists and their handlers, who own everything, including Hollywood and all world governments, against We the People. Psychological warfare is their specialty. Right now, we are in a real war. It's just that it's a mostly invisible one.
