it can retro delete a webpage or text file. it's seen as a simple text file (non executable) but is somehow programmed to have a timer or backdoor to allow the person who posted it to erase it at a later time.
I think Trump recently got into it with Spez on Reddit for deleting out a AMA post or something on Trumps personal account.
I believe the defense for Spez was "It was a robot.txt" as if to suggest trump or a staff/employee of his deleted it or Trump himself.
not sure if I got that story right about Trump but in general that is what robot text is. and when I was booted and IP banned.. the page first said "you're banned".. with a robot.txt on the page. that's the first time I learned about it. forgot about it and came across it years later to find out what again it was.
And it also is supposed to block crawlers. but archive was different. it didn't prnt copy it made it's own web pages in Im guessing it's own proprietary version of html. so it was able to snapshot and remake the pages. those pages were later removed. perhaps the language didn't matter because either robot.txt took care of it (meaning someone backdoor into it) or someone at archive.org removed them. -
2018-03-23 at 5:11 PM UTCDo you have evidence that these web crawlers deleted portions of the totse archive? Or are you just talking out your ass cuz you would believe anything conspiracy-related?

So, aside from all this rambling gobbledygook, you're looking for a manifesto that was posted on Totse just before 9/11? -

He’s looking for a thread from March 2001 that kept going up until the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, at which time the thread/manifesto was supposedly deleted by some kind of automated program -

Let's be serious for a minute. Suppose there are no aliens. Suppose what we think we see is actually a military/CIA mind control operation/experiment. Suppose the idea is that some day when the technology is right (and who knows, it may be there now) a fake alien attack can be staged against the planet. Now this sounds sort of funny BUT if such a thing happened it would be an excuse for national governments to crumble, for everyone to join as one in our common cause, our defense against this invader. Now I do realize how goofy that sounds but when Ronald Reagan stands up in front of the UN General Assembly and starts talking about how we need an alien race to come down and make us realize our common bond, that we need some outside universal threat…well what does that sound like to you? I have this wav file. It is real. What about Orson Wells "The War of the Worlds" radio broadcast? He had people scared shitless, running outside shooting at water towers. Seems like a test run to see if people will swallow such a story, and they did. I leave you with this quote from John Dewey in New York, 1917… "Someone remarked that the best way to unite all the nations on this globe would be an attack from some other planet. In the face of such an alien enemy, people would respond with a sense of their unity of interest and purpose." Just something to think about.
