Let's talk more about driving under teh influence

    Ok so.....

Like you can't give a statement when you're fucked up, yah?

If you're UNDER THE INFLUENCE, your thoughts aren't, necessarily, even your own. They aren't admissable.

So, with that PREMISE, when a man like myself gets pulled over for driving UNDER THE INFLUENCE, and they make me do TESTS, and QUESTIONS, and such, like what teh FUCK?

    ahaha.

But, jokes aside, let us think. In courtrooms, they would NEVER allow testimony from inebreints (new word). Why? Because they're fucked up. They're word doesn't mean anything. They're under OUTSIDE INFLUENCE.

But, if you commit a CRIME under 'OUTSIDE INFLUENCE' its ALL YOUR FAULT. AUTOMATICALLY.

Now what I think I'm getting at is... well, when they say 'Don't drive drunk' or 'make a choice to get a sober driver' or whatever, they're implying that you can make that SANE choice. But when you get drunk, you can no longer make that choice without being impaired. Like they're fucking saying, 'HEY IF YOU GET SUPER FUCKED UP, MAKE SURE TO BE SMART AND CALL A CAB' but if you're fucked up like me you dont any longer have the ability to MAKE THAT GOOD CHOICE. You just DO what you DO.

Anyway... im explaining it pooorly. But I know what I mean and hopefully someone else does too. FUCK YOU.

As a principle, I'd like to get out of similar offenses I might commit in the future using exactly this defense. But, in reality, any judge who's ever gotten high is going to see right through me.

I know the appeal of driving stoned, and you're probably going to be fine if you do it, but I think that every drug user should set some essential boundaries - driving seems like a reasonable one, along with family functions and school.

I knew this guy who was driving drunk once and hit and killed some woman and had to go to jail. Somehow he got out only after a year, I'm not sure how, since it definitely was not his first serious criminal conviction.

I personally wouldn't, but some people can pull it off apparently. The ones I've worked with were a pain in the ass. Once I accidentally swallowed what I thought was a high therapeutic dose of bundy just before work, but actually turned out to be a low recreational dose. I didn't get very high, just first plateau shit, but it was very upsetting and I still don't know how I managed.

This has nothing to do with this but did you know that that Rodriguez guy from the Patriots, Aaron, killed himself knowing the Mass. loophole that a person in prison still with pending appeals, who dies, is considered innocent?

    Not the same, but relative.

I aint' tryhing to justify drunk driving you stupid fucks. JESUS. Do I really need to say that? I do. SADLY.

If you're gonna be a lawyer SAV, or whoever, you better be good at making sure it wasn't my fault I chose to drive drunk. We will file MANY lawsuits against Big BudWeiser and Big Marlboro.

cars don't kill people, budweiser kills people

Is OP asking how someone can be held responsible for their actions when black out drunk?

After all if I get a girl completely drunk and we fuck, it can be considered rape in some jurisdictions. Because she "can't consent".

But if I get drunk and without remembering it I go driving I can be arrested, even if my driving is perfect. Wake up in jail - wtf?

The cops sometimes breathalize people Monday morning now. The idea is to catch those who were drinking during the weekend with residual alcohol in their system.

I had a friend that got a dui for that on a military base. The legal limit is lower on base than it is normally, and he was below the normal legal limit but above the limit for the base.
