Originally posted by Lanny Oh yeah, with a little education opiates are totally safe. Beneficial even. Just look at how we've managed to stamp out unhealthy dietary practices through education. People just don't realize that highly addictive drugs that frequently kill people in overdose are dangerous. Put kids through some shoot-up training in middle school and everything will be great!
Smoking is at an all time low because of education. Kids who go through dietary education beyond federal requirement (twice in their whole schooling career) are less likely to be obese. Texting while driving has also decreased, again, due to campaign efforts and education. -

hey guess what, they're trying to ban smoking!
also cigarettes wont have you nod out while driving and crash your car and you cant fatally overdose on tobacco alone unless you're eating cigars. your arguments are so fucking weak -
2018-03-20 at 3:24 PM UTClets make opiates legal so we can launch semi-effective billion dollar campaigns so that people dont die from the thing we just made accessible to everyone

2018-03-20 at 3:25 PM UTCits taking me all my effort to not start interrogating people for their IQs after this discussion

My argument has evidence. Drunk driving is also down considerably. What makes you think heroin would be any different. The same people driving drunk now would be nodding off. There won't be MORE and it doesn't give them any more opportunity to drive on intoxicating drugs. Just look at how few people with actual prescriptions get a dui related crash. Regulation helps, fucking moron. -
2018-03-20 at 3:45 PM UTCSploo has repeatedly been hospitalized due to spice consumption. A mixture with unknown dose and substance. Yet, somehow, he doesn't think it'd be safer if he knew his dose and substance.
When i used syncans, i bought pure and used a scale. I never, ever got even close to being hospitalized. This is called harm reduction, folks. -

spice was legal and sold at grocery stores when i was doing them. basically everyone in my city became addicted and started dying until they banned it. it was like a crack epidemic. the only thing legalizing spice will do is make everyone turn into crackheads again. im glad its not legal. ive done more drugs than most people here but im not a fucking idiot who tries to justify what i do and blame it on society -
2018-03-20 at 3:50 PM UTCim almost ready to ask you your IQ

2018-03-20 at 3:53 PM UTCmedically needing something for excruciating pain is different than snorting government heroin 10 times a day with your welfare check

Well that's an interesting claim. Do you want to try and prove it? How did you disentangle educational effects from regulatory/pricing/social effects when you came to this conclusion?Kids who go through dietary education beyond federal requirement (twice in their whole schooling career) are less likely to be obese.
Well let's see the stat controlling for socioeconomic factors then. -
2018-03-21 at 8:43 AM UTCmy dad said that smoking is for less educated blue collar types compared to whyte collar types.
