I do fear Russia and China as a bigger threat yet they're not completely unstable or threatening us as of right now. if they were, NK wouldn't even be on the radar much. but we have coexisted with China and Russia as being super nuclear powers for 6 decades. and Pakistan and India for about 3 ( Israel too) and Pakistan and India always lock horns but have kept their nukes in check showing they're relatively stable. NK isn't stable. If China and Russia get angry at us (like Russia was with Hillary and Joe Biden popping off late last year) that would be the worst case scenario we could ever confront. but right now, NK by their own admission is that they're a "Hedgehog" pointing thorns at multiple nations all at once. Including China. But they're not a small threat. They're not a laughable threat. they're 1 Million highly dedicated to die in suicidal battles with some serious military hardware. they spend a massive amount of what money they have on Military might and allow their kids to starve for doing so. if they invade South Korea.. South Korea is fucked. Every American Soldier in South Korea is going to sadly be out numbered. Hopefully they have some kind of underground place to hide until more soldiers can arrive. They will put up the good fight but it would be easily 30-1 ratio. they're along the 38th. I think we need to get them farther south. let the south Koreans guard that area. Once NK developed a Hydrogen bomb, it's only a few years between them successfully developing ICBM and mounting one of those that they don't need to be very accurate to take out an entire American city or one in china. They also have one of the most advance underground networks .. they have dug deeper and more miles of underground bunkers (that is reported) over any other nation. this guy will just order launched then live underground for decades.. growing food, treating water, have a hospital and so on. you can bake his nation but they will live underground for years. he'll probably end up committing suicide but he will get punches in first. -
