Verification process for new accounts so they don't have to comply with the posting limit?

2018-03-19 at 5:46 PM UTCSo I've heard from a couple of people now who were interrupted after making a few posts on their new accounts. I'm sure this policy is keeping out whomever it was directed at, but is there a way around it for serious new posters?

2018-03-19 at 6:41 PM UTCMeh it's not that hard, just make like 10-20 accounts and reply every few hours with the most boring useless posts you can think of.
Like if someone makes a thread like "popcorn costs way too much at the movies" reply with "yeah and the drink combos suck too!" And then go in there as another guy and say "you must all be poor if seeing a movie hurts your wallet that much" and then another guy chimes in "this is why I stay at home and pop my own corn and watch netflix"
Next thing you know you have like 50 accounts with 100 posts each and you can proceed to wreck anyone that stands in your way.

The only constructive way to make sure you have very little problems is not to run your BBS like a kidiot jackass in the first place, and then no one has any reason or justification to take your site down. Nobody likes the truth, but that's the truth.
