Ever since taking multiple pills throughout 2015, I've been having hallucinations while drifting off to sleep, like my brain has been altered to be more imaginative. It starts right away -- as soon as I close my eyes, I'll have auditory hallucinations, start seeing visuals in my mind's eye, etc.
It's always horrified the fuck out of me, so I've been going to sleep while listening to music every night to drown them out. It won't completely stop the illusions, but it definitely helps.
Anyway, last night I went to sleep without putting in my earphones and listening to venga boys (out of laziness), when suddenly I realized something... I COULD CONTROL THE HALLUCINATIONS!
I imagined myself back in time in my old childhood home, and I walked around it and soaked in all the sensations. Sights, smells, etc. I was actually living it, experiencing memories that I had never unlocked until then! It was crazy!
It was like a lucid dream, except I wasn't asleep yet. It just happened automatically, about a minute or so after closing my eyes.
I can't wait to do it again tonight. It's like I've unlocked something amazing here. And it's a good lesson too, especially if you apply it to tripping. Just accept the hallucinations, don't try to fight them.

What kind of pills are you talking about? MDMA?

I get that too- The almost dream state control a minute before actually falling asleep. I find the only way I can actually go to bed without being physically exhausted is to focus on random colors n shit when you close your eyes. Then slowly fall into those mini hallucinations and turn them into full born lucid dreams, then zzz. Doesn't last long though.
Yay doing too many psychedelics!

I used to get sleep paralysis a lot when I was younger. Then I learned how to control it and used it as a tool for lucid dreaming/meditation.
Then it fucking stopped happening

That sounds pretty wild man.
And yea panic and anxiety can fuck you up. I once had a horrible panic attack while standing in a formation while I was in Afghanistan that just came out of nowhere. I started getting tunnel vision and was really close to passing out. After that formations would instantly give me a physical anxiety reaction. Luckily I got out pretty soon after that so I was able to kind of avoid formations for a little while, or always weasel myself into the last row because I wouldn't really get anxiety there.

You dudes have no idea what you have stumbled upon or the potential of it.

How do you know that these “locked” memories you’re experiencing really happened. They could easily be false memories

What if you can see or find out something about the future
If you don't try, fuck you.

I'm not trolling here.
People can project their consciousness into the future and the past if they try. It isn't hard to do either, the only problem is understanding what you sense.
In addition it might also be possible to remember past lives, so try that out if you can.
